F.A.Q.
Frequently asked questions about ordering from BleachRefill.com
When will I receive my order?
Orders are typically processed and shipped in 24 to 48 hours. We ask our customers to allow 7-10 business days from time of shipping to receive their order, however, transit and delivery times will be longer than expected during peak shipping season from October through December. All orders are shipped via U.S. Postal Service.
Do you take orders from outside the United States?
Currently we do not ship outside the United States.
Is this the same teeth whitening gel I bought off my dentist?
Yes. Purchasing Opalescence® or Nite White® from BleachRefill.com is the same as purchasing from your dentist. The brands do not change, only the prices change.
Our company was founded by dentists and is currently run by dentists, specifically for the purpose of providing a convenient method of purchasing teeth whitening gel refills. Through our unique relationships with manufacturers, we are able to supply these products at affordable prices.
How can I be sure your gels are fresh?
This is a very important question, because teeth whitening gels tend to lose potency over an extended period of time.
Unlike other companies, BleachRefill.com sells only bleaching gel refills. This focus gives us great control over our inventory, and allows us to guarantee that our customers will receive only the freshest gels.
Beware of those companies selling refills at unrealistically low prices - this usually means that they purchased their bleach in bulk, and although this may save you a few dollars, the gel you are getting is old and may not be effective.
Frequently asked questions about tooth whitening with Opalescence® and Nite White®.
What is the shelf life of Opalescence®?
Opalescence® has a shelf life of 24 months refrigerated (12 months un-refrigerated). Recommended refrigeration temperature range is between 36 and 46 degrees Fahrenheit (2 to 8 degrees Celsius).
What is the shelf life of Nite White®?
Nite White® shelf life of 12 months.
What causes tooth discoloration?
There are many causes. The most common include aging, consumption of staining substances (coffee, teas, colas, tobacco), trauma, tetracycline (antibiotic) staining, excessive fluoride, and nerve degeneration.
How does bleaching work?
The whitening material allows oxygen to enter the dentin and enamel of your teeth, thus bleaching the discolored areas.
Is the process safe?
Yes! Research and clinical studies indicate that whitening teeth with carbamide peroxide and/or hydrogen peroxide under the supervision of a dentist is safe for teeth and gums. In fact, many dentists consider this whitening process the safest cosmetic procedure available today.
Are there any side effects?
The main side effect of bleaching is possible tooth sensitivity while using the product, especially to very cold food or drink. This sensitivity should disappear after a few days of discontinuing treatment.
Can I bleach while I'm pregnant or lactating?
To date, there has been no testing done on the effects of using a professional tooth-whitening system while pregnant or lactating. Therefore, we do not recommend that you use Nite White® or Opalescence® or any other whitening gel if you are pregnant or lactating.
Why aren't my teeth whitening evenly?
Sometimes the biting edges and the sides of the teeth whiten more quickly than the rest of the teeth. This occurs because your enamel is thinner in these areas and responds faster to the whitening process. As you continue to use Nite White® or Opalescence®, the rest of your teeth will catch up and the color will even out.
